Senior Control Systems Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team in Sydney. This is an excellent opportunity to take a leading role in delivering innovative automation solutions across a range of complex and rewarding projects.

Job Summary:

  • Engage directly with clients to define project requirements and develop clear scopes of work.
  • Lead the design, development, implementation, and commissioning of advanced control system solutions.
  • Ensure all project deliverables meet high standards of quality, safety, and timeliness.
  • Provide expert-level technical support and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Promote and contribute to a culture focused on health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ).

Requirements:

  • A minimum of five years' experience in control systems engineering within heavy industry or similar environments.
  • Strong client engagement skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Proven experience with control systems, automation platforms, and industrial communication networks.
  • A current Australian driver's licence.

Preferred Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in programming and commissioning control systems.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
