Job Opportunity

We are recruiting an Electrical Systems Estimator for a leading organisation in the power distribution industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare estimates, tenders, and bids for projects of all sizes, including switchboard design, customer support, and technical projects.
  • Design switchboards based on client specifications, adhering to AS/NZS 61439.2: 2016 for Low-Voltage Switchgear and Controlgear Assemblies.
  • Compile and submit tenders accurately and in alignment with customer requirements.
  • Produce technical documentation, such as construction drawings, material take-offs, product data sheets, and other essential documents.
Requirements:
  • Certifications in Electrical Design are a must.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience designing Main Distribution Systems and Switchboards is required.
  • Strong understanding of Australian electrical standards and Service & Installation Rules for various states.
  • Proficient in using design tools such as AutoCAD and other related software.

  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with a knack for thinking on your feet in fast-paced situations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills — you'll need to liaise with both internal teams and external clients regularly.
