Electrical Estimator Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Estimator to join our team full-time. In this role, you will be a vital part of our growth, helping us deliver accurate and competitive quotes across a wide range of projects.

  • Communicate directly with clients and attend site meetings or inspections.
  • Prepare detailed estimates and tenders.
  • Review project plans, specifications, and documents to determine material, labour, and subcontractor needs.
  • Work closely with the project team to clarify scope, resolve any uncertainties, and ensure the accuracy of estimates.
  • Identify risks, opportunities to save costs, and value-engineering options to strengthen bids.
  • Respond promptly to tender queries and keep communication clear throughout the process.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience as an electrician in the construction industry, excellent attention to detail, and a solid understanding of electrical systems, materials, and installation practices.

Key responsibilities include developing detailed, itemised cost estimates aligned with our pricing and margin goals, keeping supplier pricing, historical job data, and cost benchmarks up to date, and working effectively within a collaborative team environment.
