About the Role

The Information and Records Management Team (IRM) is seeking a skilled Records Management Specialist to join their team. This role sits within the IRM, providing services such as governance, compliance support, repository management, and EDRMS helpdesk support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate file transfer and retrieval services, sentencing, archiving, and destruction of physical and digital records
  • Administer Objective workflows, assist personnel with EDRMS functions, processes, and uptake
  • Provide EDRMS first and second level system support
  • Coordinate with IT systems and support teams to resolve technical issues
  • Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and guides for internal and external stakeholders
  • Advise customers on records and information management best practices
  • Plan and deliver EDRMS/IRM training, including training product development
  • Assist the Records Officer with mail and courier processing
  • Manual lifting and moving record boxes up to 15kg
Your Profile
  • Experience in records management
  • Proficiency with Objective
  • Ability to lift and move boxes up to 15kg
  • Well-developed interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills
  • Australian citizenship (mandatory)
Security Requirements
  • Must have a current Baseline Clearance
