The Opportunity

This permanent, full-time position based in the Sydney office offers flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a strategic direction for the Cyber & Information security function, ensuring alignment with technology governance standards and EML's operational goals.
  • Manage the Information Security Strategy, maintaining ISO27001 certification and overseeing a small team of security analysts and engineers.
  • Identify and manage security breaches, ensuring the protection of EML's assets and information.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive cyber security initiatives and enhance IT resilience.
  • Own the risk management function in the Technology Business unit, preparing regular reports on cyber security risk posture for presentation to the Board.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in a similar information security management role, preferably in a fast-paced financial or government environment.
  • Strong experience in ISO27001 ISMS management, with qualifications aligned to Computer Science or Business.
  • Certification in project management, such as CISSP or CISM, with hands-on experience producing and presenting reports for senior stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
