IT Infrastructure Specialist

We are seeking a skilled IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As an IT Infrastructure Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining complex computer systems, networks, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Recommend improvements to existing systems and processes through analysis and staying up-to-date with the latest technology trends.
  • Showcase specialist skills in troubleshooting and supporting systems and network-related problems.
  • Capacity planning based on monitoring to forecast future usage requirements and enhancements for optimal system performance.
  • Interpret, evaluate, and develop complex data models and diagrams of network environments.
  • Monitor and analyze system performance metrics to ensure optimal operation.
  • Document inventory, implementations, enhancements, and modifications to systems and networks.
  • Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Ensure solution compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or information technology.
  • 5-10 years of experience in managing cloud, server, and network environments.
  • Experience with Google Apps, Office 365, MS Exchange, Zimbra, NextCloud, Apache, Nginx, IIS, MS-SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
  • Knowledge of OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRF, VLAN, VPN/IPSec, SD-WAN, VoIP.
  • Proficiency in Windows, RHEL, and Ubuntu Server Administration.
  • Experience in setting up and managing PBX environments.
  • Good understanding of Change and Problem Management.
  • Good understanding in Project Management, Product Evaluation, and Performance Assessment.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to work within deadlines to a high standard.
