eHealth Clinical Analyst

About the Role
The Eastern Health EMR Clinical Analyst will be responsible for participating in the software build, development, and maintenance of functional specifications, software releases, testing, and defect resolution for the Medications Management and Pharm Net solution of the Cerner Millennium platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain functional specifications, software releases, and testing plans for the Medications Management and Pharm Net solution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve defects and improve the overall performance of the EMR system.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on the Medications Management and Pharm Net solution to stakeholders and end-users.
- Participate in the development and implementation of new features and enhancements to the EMR system.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of the EMR system by identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in supporting clinical information systems or working in a complex healthcare or hospital setting.
- Experience using Oracle Health/Cerner Millennium Solutions (Medications Management and Pharm Net) or another Electronic Medical Record application (Medications Management).
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in a Health discipline, Information Technology, or Information Management, or equivalent work experience.
- High level of computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project to produce professional documentation and presentations.
- Proven ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, in a clear, concise, and logical and effective manner.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a number of concurrent tasks and adapt to changes in the work environment.
- Ability to seek advice and direction from technical experts.
- Excellent team player.
- Self-motivated and able to work without supervision.
- Current valid Driver's Licence.
- Previous experience in managing drug information.
