Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional to facilitate the delivery of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health training activities and events in Northern Territory.

  • Partner with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health teams to ensure cultural competency and support for registrars.
  • Contribute to forecasting and planning to meet community needs for registrar training.
  • Coordinate registrar placements and career goals.
  • Participate in core training events and support program delivery to increase junior doctors in GP Training and rural placements.
About This Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced individual to contribute to our team. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working in Indigenous health or a related field.
  • Strong cultural competency and understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the seamless delivery of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health training activities and events.
  • Collaborating with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health teams to ensure cultural competency and support for registrars.
  • Contributing to forecasting and planning to meet community needs for registrar training.
  • Coordinating registrar placements and career goals.
  • Participating in core training events and supporting program delivery.
