Job Title: Clinical Coding Educator and Auditor

Are you a skilled coding professional looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a clinical coding educator and auditor to join our team.

  • Deliver targeted education and conduct coding audits to enhance the proficiency of our coding team
  • Collaborate with clinicians and clinical documentation specialists to elevate the accuracy and quality of clinical coding and documentation
  • Inspire and motivate our team, ensuring continuous support and professional development
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Completed a recognised clinical coding qualification through HIMAA, Latrobe or similar
  • 5+ years' experience in Australian Coding Standards (ICD 10 AM, ACHI, and ACS)
  • 3+ years' experience in coding education and audit experience in a tertiary level hospital
  • Demonstrated experience using 3M Codefinder and extensive knowledge of casemix and clinical coding
  • Excellent communication skills (both written & oral), with proven experience interacting with clinicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Exceptional eye for detail and organisational skills
