As our Director of Indirect Tax, you will be working directly with clients to shape and enhance business strategies to help them solve tomorrow’s problems today. Your mission is to provide expert leadership in shaping the firm's indirect tax service line.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building and managing client relationships, driving revenue growth, and/or managing complex commercial relationships effectively.
- Providing strategic leadership and direction to teams up to and including senior managers across multiple activities.
- Developing and implementing innovative strategies, operating models, processes, and compliance frameworks to manage indirect taxes through the tax lifecycle and increase operational efficiency in meeting regulatory requirements.
- Identifying opportunities for tax optimization, credits, and refund recovery, and exposure reduction strategically.
Essential Skills and Attributes for Success:
- Substantial experience in indirect tax within a professional services environment, preferably in a leading accounting firm or law firm.
- Strong technical expertise in indirect tax, particularly in Stamp Duty.
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional leadership skills in market-facing initiatives, client delivery, and staff development.
