We are seeking a motivated and experienced professional to work within our PACU unit in a permanent, full-time or part-time position.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing patient care and will be able to demonstrate exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients during the perioperative journey.
- Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care while acting as patient advocate
- Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients during perioperative journey
- Providing effective management of postoperative complications
- Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
- Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth

About YouTo be successful in this position, you will possess:
- Currently registered as a Registered Nurse (no restrictions)
- Demonstrated nursing experience within a perioperative setting or have transferable skills that can be developed with professional training
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and clinical problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated commitment to continued quality improvement and best practice principles
- Be an Australian Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident or have a perioperative ANMAC occupation code for sponsorship purposes
