About the role:

We seek an experienced full-stack developer with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into efficient software architectures. Knowledge of WDP Mesh is highly valued. Key responsibilities include:

  • Solution Design:
    • Lead the design of custom applications to meet business needs, ensuring high performance, security, and scalability.
    • Define the architecture and overall structure of web applications using React for front-end and Node.js/Java APIs for back-end services.
    • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and propose effective technical solutions.
  • Technical Leadership:
    • Provide technical guidance to the development team, ensuring adherence to best practices in coding, testing, and deployment.
    • Work with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and QA engineers, to deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure quality and maintainability.
  • Project Management & Collaboration:
    • Work closely with project managers to estimate effort, define timelines, and manage deliverables throughout the development lifecycle.
    • Communicate technical decisions and solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Performance Optimization:
    • Monitor, analyze, and optimize application performance to meet established benchmarks.
    • Implement caching, load balancing, and other strategies to enhance user experience and server efficiency.
  • Security & Compliance:
    • Ensure all developed applications adhere to industry standards for security and compliance.
    • Implement authentication, authorization, and other security measures as required.

What's on offer?

This contract offers a 6-month initial term, with extensions available for up to 18 months. Located in Sydney, this role provides a hybrid working arrangement. We estimate the salary range for this position to be around $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Candidates must be willing to undergo pre-employment screening checks, which may include ID verification, security clearance verification, and any other client-requested checks.
