We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead by example, guiding high-performing teams to deliver exceptional software products within tight deadlines.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure timely delivery of software releases
  • Supervise a team of 5+ Software Developers and Data Scientists, providing constructive feedback and coaching graduates and experienced engineers
  • Act as a domain expert in code reviews, suggesting design alternatives and discussing trade-offs

This role requires Australian citizenship due to eligibility for NV1 defense clearance. The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree or above in Systems/Software Engineering/Computer Science or related areas, with 5+ years of experience managing software teams in fixed-time environments.

You will work with key technologies including software engineering, data storage, web technologies, and machine learning. Experience with agile methodologies and web front-end technologies like HTML and software frameworks like React/Angular/Spring is essential.
