Job Title: Senior GIS Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior GIS Specialist to join our team at EBR. As a key member of our spatial data team, you will play a critical role in providing expert advice and services to ensure the effective management and accessibility of spatial data.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide specialist expertise in the integration and manipulation of spatial data using GIS software
  • Develop and implement data collection and management programs to ensure the ready availability of quality data to our planning teams
  • Build and maintain relationships with key agencies and stakeholders to enhance knowledge of externally sourced data holdings and collection programs
  • Facilitate the collection of data and maintain the spatial database/s and GIS software and hardware
Requirements:
  • Produce high-quality maps and reports in accordance with corporate standards
  • Implement corporate data policies, standards, and data management procedures to ensure best practice is used
  • Identify opportunities for technological development in our GIS and web mapping environments and mentor staff in the use of GIS software
