Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Remote Healthcare Specialist to join our team in the Pilbara region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive routine and emergency general practice care to patients in remote communities and nursing posts.

This is a 0.8 FTE GP role based in Port Hedland, with the option for FIFO job-share. We are looking for a General Practitioner with:

  • FRACGP or FACRRM
  • AHPRA Medical Registration - Specialist GP, unconditional
  • A minimum 5 year post graduate experience including general practice plus emergency medicine, paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology

Desirable skills include interest in clinical education and telehealth, prior experience in indigenous health, remote community healthcare, and shared antenatal care.

Benefits

We offer a total remuneration package that includes:

  • Base salary up to $305,155 (full-time equivalent)
  • Salary packaging - up to $15,900 per annum for everyday expenses and up to $2,650 per annum on meals and entertainment expenses
  • Partially subsidised housing, vehicle and utilities (or allowances)
  • Relocation support
  • Professional development allowance
  • 5 weeks annual leave (pro-rata)
  • 2 weeks study leave after a year (pro-rata)
