About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Residential Care Worker to join our team, supporting young people with high and complex needs in a dynamic residential unit environment.

  • Responsibilities will include working across a 24-hour roster, managing administrative duties, and developing personal skills in young people.
  • You will provide emotional support, develop life skills, and facilitate positive behavioral change in young people.

Key Selection Criteria

  • A Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention or similar qualification is highly desirable.
  • Experience as a youth worker is essential, with a genuine interest in promoting young people's wellbeing.
  • You should have knowledge of trauma and its impact on development and behavior, with strong emotional self-regulation skills.
  • An empathetic approach and non-judgmental attitude are crucial for success in this role.
