Java Microservices Lead

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance Java microservices using Spring Boot and AWS MSK.
  • Provide technical guidance on the latest API technology advances to inform our product designs.
  • Contribute to code reviews, improvement of automation, and best practices to enable faster and secure delivery of initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and refine user stories and interact with project stakeholders.
  • Establish and maintain high-quality, extensible, and maintainable software standards.
  • Mentor less experienced developers to help develop the team and promote best practices.
  • Take ownership of technical implementation of solution design, API modeling, and mapping.
  • Align with Chapter Lead to define coding standards and processes.
  • Work with Principal Engineer to support platform backlog and deliver programs.
Requirements
  • Working experience with REST API, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS MSK.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, architecture, and development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
