Overview of the Role:

The Edith Cowan University Speech Pathology program is delivered in modern, state-of-the-art facilities on campus. We are seeking a dynamic speech pathologist to join our team as a Lecturer.

About the Position:

  • This full-time, ongoing position attracts remuneration of $80,938 - $108,498 (Level A) or $113,918 - $134,596 (Level B) plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
  • A lecturer is expected to make a significant contribution to teaching and learning practice within the program as well as the Speech Pathology research profile.
  • The appointee will participate in the discipline's speech pathology program, teaching, research, and scholarly activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deliver educational material using a range of methods and platforms.
  • Create course and teaching material and lesson plans to engage with students and facilitate their learning.
  • Maintain a high degree of interpersonal skills, including teamwork and leadership, communication, and negotiating skills.

Requirements:

  • Be a Certified Practising Member with Speech Pathology Australia (or eligible for) and have at least 5-years postgraduate experience.
  • Have prior experience in the development and delivery of research-informed teaching in tertiary education and/or within a speech pathology or related context.
  • Have a developing research track record, including research outputs.
