We're seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Excellence Coordinator to join our team in Dandenong, Australia. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our manufacturing process and drive quality excellence.

About the Role

As a Manufacturing Excellence Coordinator, you'll be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality are upheld in our production process. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams throughout the business, including SPQD and Incoming Inspectors, to set Suppliers Quality Commitments in line with Alstom Procurement objectives.

You'll collaborate with suppliers to secure containment actions plans, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to address non-conformities. Your strong analytical skills will help you identify areas for improvement and develop effective mitigation plans to minimize risk.

In addition to your technical expertise, you'll also possess excellent communication and leadership skills, enabling you to effectively challenge and motivate suppliers and internal teams.

  • Degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with suppliers and internal teams
  • Leadership skills to effectively challenge and motivate suppliers and teams
  • Experience or understanding of quality control processes and methodologies in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience in supplier quality assurance and the ability to drive supplier improvement initiatives
  • Competency in risk management and the development of mitigation plans

The estimated salary for this role is $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
