Job Title: Out of School Hours Coordinator

This is a leadership role that requires exceptional organisational, communication and interpersonal skills to lead a team of educators in delivering high-quality before and after school care and holiday programs for children.

The ideal candidate will have completed or be completing an ACECQA recognised qualification, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have previous experience in the childcare/OSHC industry. A valid Employee Working with Children's Check is also required.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of educators to develop engaging programs and activities for children, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment.
  • Mentor and support staff to grow their skills and career within the industry, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage compliance documents, rosters and administrative tasks efficiently, minimising errors and delays.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Program Development: Design and implement engaging programs and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of children.
  2. Team Management: Lead and motivate a team of educators to achieve program goals, providing guidance and support as needed.
  3. Compliance: Ensure all compliance documents, rosters and administrative tasks are up-to-date and accurate.
  4. Communication: Build positive relationships with families, schools and other stakeholders through effective communication and customer service.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Completed or in the process of completing an ACECQA recognised qualification.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience: Previous experience in the childcare/OSHC industry is preferred but not essential.
  • Certification: Valid Employee Working with Children's Check.
