We are seeking an experienced Senior Analyst/Associate Director to join our Sydney office, as part of our Australia/New Zealand Structured Finance and Covered Bonds team.
About the Role- As a Senior Analyst/Associate Director, you will be responsible for rating new transactions, including looking at new asset classes and issuers;
- Ensuring all structured finance transactions/CvB programmes are reviewed on a continuous 12-month schedule and all transactions/programmes have been reviewed at least once a year by the due date;
- Performing data analysis in excel; Executing Fitch generated models; Preparing analytical documentation based on Fitch templates; Presenting analytical documentation and communicate comments and opinions in committee effectively;
- Preparing press releases based on Fitch templates;
- Providing timely market/transaction performance commentary;
- Managing queries from issuers/bankers/investors – represent Fitch and communicate effectively with external transaction parties;
- Participating in originator/servicer review meetings;
- Adhoc projects/reporting and author reports.
- An undergraduate degree in a finance related discipline;
- A minimum of 3-5 years structured finance experience from an issuer, arranger or trustee (preference in a credit or analytical related role) where the role required;
- Intermediate excel skills with knowledge of following functionality [vlookup(), sumif(), if(), index(), match() etc.;
- Strong time management skills and a high level of attention to detail.
