Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Project Supervisor to join our team and contribute to the delivery of capital works projects for TasWater. As a Project Supervisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of projects within budget and time constraints.

You will provide technical expertise and guidance to project managers, ensure subcontractors comply with safety requirements, and maintain accurate records in project management databases.

About the Role

In this fixed-term contract position, you will work out of Hobart and travel to sites across Tasmania to oversee the improvement of water quality, supply reliability, and treated water capacity in regional towns.

Your daily tasks will include providing relevant information to project managers, attending site visits to check technical standards, and maintaining records in project management databases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance to project managers to ensure projects meet required standards and timelines
  • Maintain accurate records in project management databases
  • Ensure subcontractors comply with safety requirements and regulations

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Project Supervisor in the water/wastewater industry
  • Advanced knowledge of managing teams, control systems, and project management principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders
