Strategic Land Use Planner

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Land Use Planner to join our dynamic team, supporting the delivery of neighbourhood plans for Moreton Bay. You will work closely with stakeholders to shape the growth and development of our region, ensuring that our plans are well-informed and meet community needs.

About the Role:

  1. Conduct thorough research and analysis to inform strategic decisions on land use planning matters.
  2. Prepare detailed reports and documents to achieve business outcomes.
  3. Support project-based community consultation and represent the council at meetings and forums.
  4. Provide expert advice on land use planning matters, including infrastructure planning and significant projects.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need a degree in Urban and Regional Planning or equivalent, with a proven track record of delivering complex land use planning projects. You should also possess excellent time management skills, the ability to manage conflicting priorities, and meet deadlines. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
