Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Account Manager to join our team at Komatsu Australia. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining existing customer relationships and developing new business opportunities in the Construction and Utility equipment sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain engagement with existing customers and develop new business opportunities through a proactive call plan.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure timely reporting on sales trends and competitor actions.
  • Capture all profitable sales within designated territory and maintain accurate data in the CRM system.
  • Ensure machine deliveries are conducted in a professional and timely manner.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to increase profitability through cost savings.
  • Liaise with the Sales Manager to provide forecasting and manage sales activities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and internal departments.
  • Maintain product knowledge through regular training and attendance at industry events.
Requirements
  • Proven background in Construction and Utility Equipment Industry sales.
  • Ability to demonstrate product knowledge and mechanical and technical data.
  • Highly developed sales skills and ability to develop a proactive call plan.
  • Well-organised and results-oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Strong computer literacy and analytical skills.
