We are seeking an exceptional Communications Officer to join our team. This exciting role offers a unique opportunity to develop and deliver compelling content across various media channels, inspiring students to pursue an active lifestyle and enhance their wellbeing experience.In this hands-on position, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create engaging content for our platforms. Your responsibilities will include:Developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our Sport and Recreation Services, while ensuring a strong brand is established and maintained.Preparing high-quality communication and marketing materials, including researching, writing copy, sourcing images, and creating visual content for publishing through our website, social media platforms, and e-newsletters.Collaborating with internal and external teams to develop key resources for our students, community, and staff.Providing administrative support for the implementation of marketing and promotion strategies.To succeed in this role, you will require:Excellent digital media skills and experience using web content management systems.Proficiency in CRM and digital tools such as Active Campaign, Meta Business Suite, Canva, and WordPress.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with staff, students, and the community.You will also need:Relevant qualifications in communications, public relations, or marketing, with 3+ years' experience in similar positions.Experience working in sport and recreation facilities would be highly desirable.This is a continuing (permanent) role requiring permanent work rights in Australia to be considered.
