Job Overview

SAS is seeking a highly skilled and experienced leader to fill the role of Head of Cloud and Information Services, APAC. This position will be responsible for leading the Cloud and Information Services (CIS) division in the Asia Pacific region, overseeing the design, implementation, and ongoing lifecycle management of cloud-based services and solutions for external customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of ~100 corporate IT and SAS cloud service delivery professionals across the AP region.
  • Provide oversight and direction for all IT services provided in AP, ensuring adoption of and adherence to best practices in cloud architecture, security, and compliance.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, including Sales Leaders, Customer Success, and PSD across the organization.
  • Handle external customer escalations for SAS Managed Cloud, working directly with customers and internal partners to resolve problems.
  • Provide regional leadership, communicating the IT vision, setting local expectations, and aligning within AP on globalization programs and other initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of accountability and excellence inside and across the CIS team in AP.
  • Regularly communicate corporate objectives, goals, directives, and policies, creating a clear vision and positive, goal-oriented, collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of twelve years in a senior leadership role in information technology, including eight years in a formal manager role.
  • Proven experience in a regional leadership role within IT Cloud Services & Delivery, with experience with hosted managed services preferred.
  • Strong understanding of cloud technologies and their application in enterprise environments.
  • Familiarity with regional regulations, compliance requirements, and cultures in the Asia Pacific region.
  • Demonstrated success in managing large, complex global projects and diverse teams.
  • Proven ability to interface, influence, and manage within all levels of organization, including peers, executives, and partners.
