About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Roadside Brush Cutter to join our team in maintaining and enhancing roadsides across various council-controlled contracts within Brisbane. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, has a keen eye for detail, and takes pride in their work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate various mowing equipment safely and efficiently
  • Maintain and perform regular inspections on equipment
  • Ensure lawns and green spaces are maintained to a high standard
  • Complete service requests as required
  • Adhere to safety protocols and procedures

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in roadside zero turn mowing and brush cutting of open spaces
  • A valid manual driver's license
  • A white card
  • The ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team and/or individually
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • A willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions ranging from hot summer days to cooler winter months
  • A strong work ethic and commitment to completing tasks efficiently and to the highest standards
