Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Aged Care Professional to join our KinCare team in the Toowoomba, QLD area. As a permanent part-time employee, you will have the opportunity to work with our customers, providing domestic assistance, personal care, and social support to help them live independently at home for longer.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure our customers' homes are safe and comfortable.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, ensuring our customers have access to nutritious food and groceries.
- Offer social support and transport to lifestyle activities, helping our customers stay connected with their community.
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and medication management, to support our customers' daily needs.
- Offer respite and emotional support to our customers, providing a listening ear and a helping hand when needed.
- Transport customers to appointments and social events, ensuring they can access essential services and maintain their social connections.
- Provide complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia and other conditions.

Requirements

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- A flexible and adaptable approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
