About the Role

Our Toowoomba Home and Community team are seeking dedicated and reliable Home Care Workers to support and enable our clients to maintain a happy, healthy, and independent lifestyle at home.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with personal grooming and hygiene
  • Provide medication assistance
  • Offer transport and social inclusion
  • Support with domestic duties as required
About You

To ensure the most effective and continuous care, we require our Home Care Workers to be dedicated, reliable, and flexible. We look for individuals who possess:

  • A fantastic attitude and genuine interest in helping others
  • Various hobbies and interests
  • Experience in outdoor pursuits and activities
  • A practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment to care
  • Enjoyment in social activities and one-on-one engagement
  • Understanding of physical limitations and a safe, sensible approach
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, sensitivity, and emotional stability
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications
  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Home & Community Care, Disability Services, or similar field
  • Completion of Assist clients with medication (or commitment to obtain)
  • Completion of Recognise healthy body systems (or commitment to obtain)
  • Current National Police Certificate
  • Current Drivers Licence and own reliable vehicle
  • Immunisation against Tetanus & Hepatitis B
  • Physically capable of meeting the requirements of the role
