About This Role

This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of families and children. As a Supported Playgroup Facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering engaging playgroup sessions and in-home coaching to families who are experiencing disadvantage.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Social Work, and experience working with vulnerable families. They will also possess strong interpersonal skills, cultural competence, and knowledge of the VEYLDF framework.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality playgroup sessions and in-home coaching to families
  • BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH FAMILIES AND COMMUNITY SERVICE PROVIDERS
  • Manage referrals and maintain accurate records
  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to achieve desired outcomes

Key Requirements:

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Social Work
  • Experience working with vulnerable families
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Cultural competence
  • Knowledge of the VEYLDF framework
