Job Description

The Department of Health, Tasmania is seeking experienced professionals for the role of Allied Health Lead Practitioner. The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary team environment, providing high-level clinical leadership and delivering high-quality mental health services to young people and their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing complex case management, assessment, and individual therapies
  • Leading and collaborating with clinicians as part of the multidisciplinary team
  • Developing and implementing specialised treatment programs
  • Working alongside innovative team leaders and consultant psychiatrists to develop new youth mental health services

Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution
  • Current Working with Children Registration
