About the Program

Nutrien Ag Solutions is seeking top talent to participate in our 24-month Livestock Career Development Program. This comprehensive program is designed to equip participants with the skills and knowledge necessary to become future leaders or technical experts within the Livestock Industry.

Program Highlights
  • Accelerated Learning Opportunities: Participants will have access to four leadership and skill-building workshops, on-the-ground training, and mentorship from experienced livestock employees and leaders.
  • Professional Networking: Participants will have the opportunity to socialize with peers and leaders across the business, fostering professional relationships and a strong network.
  • Placement Mobility: Upon completion of the program, participants may be required to or have the opportunity to move locations to ensure they get the most out of their experience with Nutrien Ag Solutions.
  • Business Skills: Participants will develop skills in compliance, sales, client relationship building, communication, marketing, and social media, as well as understanding finance, problem-solving, and negotiation.
  • Livestock Skills: Participants will gain expertise in next-generation stock and station agency skills, livestock productivity, animal health and nutrition, Auctions Plus, auctioneering, wool technical and market requirements, and emerging technology.
Requirements
  • Strong Desire to Learn and Succeed: Participants should have a strong desire to learn and succeed in the Livestock industry.
  • Excellent Customer Service Skills: Participants should possess excellent customer service skills and strong negotiation abilities.
  • Successful Completion of Year 12: Participants should have successfully completed Year 12.
  • Work Experience in the Agricultural Industry: Participants should have worked successfully for a minimum of 24 months within the Agricultural industry, ideally within Livestock.
  • Willingness to Relocate: Participants should be willing to relocate at the conclusion or throughout the program.
  • Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Residency: Participants should be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or Australian permanent resident.
  • Ability to Work in a Team Environment: Participants should be able to work in a team environment.
  • Willingness to Learn and Strong Communication and Problem-Solving Skills: Participants should be willing to learn, possess strong communication and problem-solving skills, and demonstrate leadership potential.
  • Genuine Interest in the Livestock Industry: Participants should have a genuine interest and desire to work and learn about the Livestock Industry.
