Job Overview

This is a part-time remote position that supports a diverse client base with tax, business advisory and SMSF work.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial statements, tax returns and BAS reports for clients.
  • Oversee compliance requirements for self-managed super funds.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through effective communication and attention to detail.
  • Review and support junior team members in their tasks and responsibilities.
  • Contribute to the improvement of internal systems and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience working in an Australian public practice firm is essential.

- Being CA/CPA qualified or working towards certification is highly desirable.

- Strong technical knowledge of tax laws and regulations, particularly in relation to SMSFs, is necessary.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required, as well as a keen eye for detail.

- Proficiency in cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and BGL is also essential.
