About the Role:

The Residential Care Leadership Specialist will lead and inspire a dedicated care team, ensuring residents' health needs are closely monitored and met with excellence. This role involves shifts, including regular Monday shifts and night shifts from Tuesday to Friday, providing leadership to the care team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Treat residents with empathy and respect, supporting their unique choices in daily life.
  • Ensure quality staff practices meet residents' clinical and personal needs.
  • Regularly review and update resident care plans.
  • Lead with professionalism, aligning with the organisation's Christian values.
  • Ensure RNs, allied health staff, and doctors meet clinical standards.
  • Share clear information for effective multidisciplinary care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for funding compliance.
  • Encourage teamwork, assist in reviews, and support RN selection.
  • Keep families informed and address concerns as needed.
  • Oversee assessments to align admissions with care needs.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a Registered Nurse, AHPRA registered.
  • Previous experience in Residential Care Services.
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management.
  • Intermediate computer skills and experience working in an electronic environment.
  • Current NDIS Workers Screening Check.

Salary:

$70,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience.
