Scientist - Haematology Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Scientist to join our vibrant and engaged team in Haematology. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising and organizing training, education, and continuing professional development for the haematology team
- Reviewing haematology internal quality control and external quality assurance performance to maintain successful NATA accreditation
- Assisting in troubleshooting technical issues and managing equipment and method validation/verification
- Completing internal audits and performing duties with a high degree of independence
Requirements:
- Extensive experience and theoretical knowledge in haematology, including flow cytometry, morphology, specialist coagulation, and Hb Electrophoresis
- Sound knowledge of reviewing haematology end of month internal quality control and external quality assurance performance
- Good understanding of ISO15189, NPAAC, and CLSI guidelines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
- Ability to triage workload and attend to multiple tasks, with a high degree of independence and sound judgement
