Environmental Consultant – Sustainability Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Scientist to join our team in Cairns, where you will play a key role in leading the change toward a sustainable and equitable future.
As an Environmental Scientist, you will work closely with our diverse team of experts in Remediation, EIA, Air Quality, GIS, Ecology, Sustainability, and Stakeholder Engagement to help industries and governments fulfill their responsibilities to the people and the planet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage timely and high-quality environmental impact assessments, constraints analyses, strategic assessments, and environmental management plans.
- Lead a range of projects across various industries such as Energy, Transport, and Water.
- Assist in the organisation of resources, budgets, and timelines for the management of projects.
- Mentor junior members of the team.
Requirements:
- Ideal experience in environmental impact assessment across multiple market sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in an appropriate discipline.
- Strong team player, influencer, and collaborator with confidence in translating technical information into accessible language.
