Radiation Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at Icon Group, a leading provider of cancer care services in Australia. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality radiation therapy treatment to patients with cancer.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in radiation therapy, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams. You will be responsible for delivering radiation therapy treatment as prescribed by Radiation Oncologists, maintaining the highest standards of patient care, and continually enhancing the quality of service and patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centred clinical radiation therapy treatment delivery services that comply with all relevant safety and quality standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience.
- Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
- Exhibit a strong patient focus and treating all patients and their carers with respect, dignity, and equality.
- Support a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient centric and collaborative approach.
What you would bring to the role:
- Proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills that inspire the trust and confidence required to build strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and a commitment to, the delivery of high-quality radiation therapy services.
- Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and procedures.
- Understanding of the service delivery model within the private healthcare sector.
- Demonstrable capacity to work effectively and positively both independently, and as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
- Current AHPRA Radiation Therapist registration with NSW Radiation User Licence.
