Cancer Care Specialist

Our team is comprised of over 3,500 employees, with an Australian cancer services division that includes six day oncology hospitals, thirty-two radiation oncology centers, and ten comprehensive centers offering medical oncology, haematology and radiation oncology services under one roof.
We are seeking a Radiation Therapist to join our growing team in Wahroonga on a full-time basis for a sixteen-month contract. The primary purpose of this role is to provide high-quality radiation therapy treatment as prescribed by a Radiation Oncologist. This position reports directly to the Clinical Lead Radiation Therapist.
About the Role- To provide safe, patient-centred clinical radiation therapy treatment delivery services that comply with all relevant safety and quality standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience.
- Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
- Exhibit a strong patient focus and treat all patients and their carers with respect, dignity, and equality.
- Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centred clinical radiation therapy treatment delivery services that complies with all relevant safety and quality standards.
- Maintain the highest standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience.
- Liaise with members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner.
- Exhibit a strong patient focus and treating all patients and their carers with respect, dignity, and equality.
- Support a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care services through a patient-centric and collaborative approach.
- A proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills that inspire trust and confidence required to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Demonstrated understanding of and a commitment to delivering high-quality radiation therapy services.
- The ability to adhere to clinical protocols and procedures.
- An understanding of the service delivery model within the private healthcare sector.
- Demonstrable capacity to work effectively and positively both independently and as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
- Current AHPRA Radiation Therapist registration with NSW Radiation User Licence.
Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$150,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
