Youth Care Support Specialist

We are seeking qualified individuals to provide individualized care and support to young people aged 12-17 in need of out-of-home care.
About the Role- Provide comprehensive care and support to young people in residential placements
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people and colleagues
- Assist with daily tasks such as transporting young people, completing activities, and maintaining a safe and homely environment
- Participate in programs designed for growth and development, including therapeutic crisis intervention training and needs-based framework training
- Current working with children check (for paid employment)
- Current first aid certificate
- National police check
- A current driver's licence
- Willingness to participate in a worker/carers exclusion scheme check
- Current ndis worker check
- Enrolled in/undertaking or hold certificate iv in child youth and family intervention, or a recognised relevant qualification
- Complete mandatory units of competency within the first 3 months of employment if not obtained prior to applying
