Incident Response Specialist

This role involves providing specialist incident response expertise to contribute to the implementation of a security operations capability. Key responsibilities include delivering incident/threat detection and response activities for clients, reviewing current technical capabilities, implementing tools and technologies for malware and threat actor response, and supporting security monitoring, research, assessment, and analysis on enterprise security tools.

  • This includes performing initial risk assessments on new threats and vulnerabilities, investigating, documenting, responding, and reporting on cyber security issues and emerging trends.

Suitable candidates will have passion for cyber security and service excellence, experience in customer-facing technical or security support environments, development and implementation of cyber defence strategies in complex organizations, and managing cyber security incidents in large and complex organizations.

About This Role:

We are seeking an Incident Response Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will provide specialist incident response expertise to contribute to the implementation of our security operations capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Cyber Security Incident Response activities for clients
  • Review current technical detection and response capabilities
  • Implement tools and technologies for malware and threat actor response
  • Support security monitoring, research, assessment, and analysis on enterprise security tools
  • Perform initial risk assessments on new threats and vulnerabilities
  • Investigate, document, respond, and report on cyber security issues and emerging trends
