Key Responsibilities

This role involves conducting thorough building inspections, compiling detailed reports, and delivering exceptional client service.

  1. Site-based:
    • Carry out quality assurance building inspections and report on new homes at various stages of construction
    • Interact with clients and builders/site supervisors
    • Identify faults, defective building work, or maintenance issues related to relevant sections of the NCC, Australian standards, and the VBA's Guide to Standards and Tolerances
    • Complete inspection documentation in line with company policies and procedures
    • Ongoing learning of codes/standards/building practices
  2. Desktop duties
    • Review construction plans and specifications
    • Verify compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
About You

You must be passionate about quality construction, holding a Registered Building Practitioner (Unlimited or limited) registration or nearing completion of your registration.

As a proactive and efficient individual, you should have extensive experience working with multiple trades within residential construction and qualifications to advise on compliance with the National Construction Code, Australian Standards, and the Victorian Building Authority's Guide to Standards and Tolerances.

As a self-starter, team player, and results-driven professional, you will contribute to delivering exceptional client service and meet priorities efficiently.
