Job Description

The Banquet Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in the hotel's success. Reporting directly to the F&B Manager, you will work together as a cohesive team to deliver exceptional events.

As a strategic thinker and detail-oriented professional, you will ensure that the right people with the right skills are working at the right hours to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement event strategies to meet business objectives
  • Lead and motivate a high-performing team to maintain exceptional service standards
  • Manage daily operations, including briefings, meetings, and training sessions as required
  • Resolve service issues, guest comments, and supplier problems in a timely and effective manner
  • Manage departmental budgets and financial targets
  • Analyse customer satisfaction data to identify trends and opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Optimise stock levels for banquet resources and consumables
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional events
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a Food & Beverage leadership role in a hotel or events management
  • Ability to plan, delegate, lead, and motivate a team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills with great attention to detail
  • Strong business acumen to understand budgets, forecasting, staffing levels, and customer satisfaction
  • Flexible and adaptive working approach
  • A collaborator with a friendly and professional persona
  • Mature and professional conflict resolution and negotiation skills
