Brite is seeking an experienced barista and all-rounder with excellent customer service standards to join our small cafe team at Brite Cafe.

This is a dynamic role that requires a passion for coffee, food, and customer service. The successful candidate will be motivated to serve a great cup of coffee, possess high-standard barista skills on a commercial machine, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and food to customers
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude
  • Operate commercial coffee machines and maintain a clean and organized workspace
  • Support the management of stock levels and maintain a high level of inventory control
  • Work collaboratively with the cafe team to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service
  • Follow health and safety policies and procedures, legislation, and standards

Requirements:

  • 2 or more years' experience in a similar role
  • High-standard barista skills on a commercial machine
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and show initiatives during quiet periods
  • Experience following health and safety policies and procedures, legislation, and standards
