Brite Cafe, a dynamic social enterprise, is looking for an experienced barista and all-rounder to join our small cafe team. As a people's person with excellent customer service standards, you will be an integral part of our team, providing exceptional coffee and delicious food to our customers.

We are committed to creating empowering employment and training opportunities for people with disability. Our cafe is a symbol of inclusivity and opportunity, and we strive to make a positive impact by fostering a supportive environment where our people can thrive.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • a passion for coffee, food, and customer service
  • high-standard barista skills on a commercial machine
  • fast turnaround of orders
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and show initiatives during quiet periods
  • support the management of stock levels
  • experience following health and safety policies and procedures, legislation, and standards
  • 2 or more years' experience in a similar role

This is a part-time position, primarily Monday-Friday 9am-2pm, with the opportunity for full-time hours. As a profit-for-purpose social enterprise and registered charity, all Brite staff are required to successfully apply for NDIS Screening Check and Working with Children Check.
