Job Title: Nurse Unit Manager - Perinatal Care Specialist

Nurse Unit Managers play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care and clinical outcomes within our wards.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading their team to achieve these goals, while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to the ward, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care.
  • Operate with a customer-centric approach, prioritising patient needs and comfort at all times.
  • Manage human, financial, and material resources effectively, ensuring optimal resource allocation and efficient workflow management.
Requirements:
  • Specialised nursing experience in perinatal care.
  • Post Graduate Certificate or working towards in perinatal care.
  • Previous NUM experience or equivalent.
  • Current Registration with AHPRA and Working with Vulnerable People check.
  • Commitment to Quality Patient Care.
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
