Pharmaceutical Manufacturing EHS Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead our Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) function in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing robust frameworks to meet regulatory requirements.

This role involves:

  • Developing and maintaining compliance frameworks, risk management processes, and risk registers to manage significant EHS risks;
  • Maintaining and ensuring compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and practices across the APAC region;
  • Proactively identifying, assessing, documenting, and taking action on risks associated with CSL activities;
  • Driving a culture of continuous improvement, ease of doing business, and process simplification;
  • Facilitating incident investigations and serving as the first point of contact for EHS matters;
  • Coordinating EHSMS verification activities to maintain certification to CSL Global EHSMS;
  • Leading deployment of allocated EHS critical programs from strategic plans.

Requirements:

  • Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline from a recognised tertiary educational institution;
  • Proven experience supporting Manufacturing or related industry EHS function;
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and 45001 is essential, experience with self-insurance schemes is desirable;
  • Experience in reporting to government and other regulatory authorities, including regulatory audits and leading internal audits;
  • Demonstrated risk management and compliance experience principally in safety and environment.
