Senior Manufacturing Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Manufacturing Professional to join our team in Melbourne, Australia.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Optimize production processes to boost efficiency and quality in timber processing and manufacturing.
  • Develop and maintain quality systems; oversee audits and corrective actions.
  • Design layouts and material flows using lean principles to enhance productivity.
  • Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, waste reduction, and automation opportunities.
  • Provide technical expertise across multiple sites, ensuring standards and collaboration.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial engineering, preferably in timber, furniture, or manufacturing sectors.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining, jig and fixture design, and factory layout planning.
  • Lean Six Sigma, ISO 9001, and continuous improvement experience or certification.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD/SolidWorks, ERP/MES, and data analytics platforms.
  • Experience in CAPEX projects, automation, and multi-site initiatives.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel across Australia.
