Job Description

The Research Associate position in the quantum information processing group at UNSW involves conducting theoretical research and developing new theory for quantum information processing in high-dimensional systems.

As a key member of the team, you will support demonstrations of fault-tolerant quantum operations and quantum error correction concepts, and contribute to the experimental program through collaborative research efforts.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a world-famous research group and contribute to breakthroughs in semiconductor quantum computing.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PhD in quantum physics, quantum engineering, or related area.
  • Demonstrated track record of developing original theory in the field of quantum information processing and quantum error correction.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to communicate and interact with a diverse range of stakeholders and students.
