Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic thinker with a sharp analytical mind to play a pivotal role in driving commercial performance.

The Senior Commercial Analyst will work closely with senior leadership, finance, operations, and other key stakeholders to provide insights that shape the company's strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the annual strategy refresh process, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and market dynamics.
  • Conduct environmental scans, competitor benchmarking, and internal performance reviews to inform strategic priorities.
  • Support and collaborate with senior leaders to shape strategic direction and investment/divestment priorities.
  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable business plans, including timelines, resource requirements, and measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with business units to ensure alignment between strategy and operational execution.
  • Monitor progress against strategic initiatives and escalate risks or barriers to execution.
  • Develop and maintain KPI dashboards and performance scorecards to track progress against strategic and financial goals.
  • Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles with clear, data-driven commentary and recommendations.
  • Lead or support the development of robust business cases for new initiatives, capital investments, and strategic projects.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Finance or related field (CA/CPA desirable)
  • 5+ years' experience in commercial strategy, financial analysis, or consulting
  • Advanced Excel and Power BI skills with strong financial modelling capability
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex insights
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills
