As a General Practitioner, you will make a meaningful impact by providing high-quality medical care to Defence members at Gaza Ridge Health Centre. This state-of-the-art facility boasts a multidisciplinary team and cutting-edge equipment, ensuring that ADF personnel receive exceptional healthcare services.
The health centre offers comprehensive primary medical, dental, nursing, physiotherapy, mental health, and pharmaceutical care. Additionally, it features a 20-bed low dependency ward operating 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Key responsibilities include delivering primary medical care in accordance with professional standards and Defence policies. You will work collaboratively within a dynamic team environment to support the wellbeing of Defence personnel.
For this role, we require an unrestricted Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) registration as a Medical Practitioner, Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP), Fellowship of the Australasian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (FACRRM), or Vocational Registration. We also need minimum 2 years' full-time experience as a GP within the last 5 years and Australian Citizenship for Baseline Security Clearance requirements.
